In connection with the final preparations before the opening of the new Oslo Tennisklubb arena, we are making some temporary adjustments to the course layout in January.
Below you will find an overview of what this means for both adults and children, as well as important information about course booking.
Adult classes will be paused until week 4. We use this period to finalize the arena and make the final preparations before the full start up.
The courses are scheduled to start up again from Monday, January 19, and we will send a separate confirmation as soon as this is finally clarified.
In the new arena, adult courses will have a new layout, including with expansion from 2 to 3 courts. To avoid confusion and misunderstandings about times, groups and organization, we have chosen to start all over again in a new arena rather than making changes in the middle of an ongoing course. We believe this provides a cleaner and better experience for everyone.
Since we do not have regular adult courses either in the morning or in the evening in the first two weeks of January, there will be more spare capacity in the bubble during this period.
This provides additional opportunities for course booking and self-organized play until the courses start up again.
Children's classes run as usual from January 5, with the same setup and times as before Christmas.
From January 19 we move to new course layouts in the new arena.
The courses will be extended from 2 to 3 courts, and most kids will again play 1 hour per session, instead of 45 minutes.
More detailed information about new groups, times and setup is sent in a own email to guardians and participants in advance of the start-up.
Booking of courts in the new arena becomes available from 12 January.
More information about booking, access and system will be sent in our own channels closer to the start.
We are now in the final phase before the opening of the new arena. To ensure a safe, clear and good start for both children and adults, we need some extra time for testing, organisation and final details.
These adjustments will allow us to start up in an orderly manner and provide everyone with the best possible offer in the new arena.
