Good to Know

The little things — court rules, sign-ups, camp weeks, and where to find them. Tap any question to open it.

01

Courses & Sign-Up

When do autumn courses start?

Adult courses start week 34 (Monday 17 August 2026). All children's courses start week 35 (Monday 24 August 2026) — so kids have one week of school before activities begin.

How do I sign up?

Registration is open through Court22 → Interest Forms. Everyone re-registers each autumn — spring places don't roll over automatically, so groups can be rebuilt by level, preference, and availability.

Register early and list your preferred days and times in as much detail as you can. Popular groups fill up.

Do children need to be members to take courses?

Yes — from August 2026, every child in a course must be a club member. It's a safety and insurance requirement: all members are automatically insured through the Norwegian Sports Federation.

The enrollment fee for child memberships is waived, all the way up to age 18. Child memberships can be set up directly in Court22.

Are there fitness courses too?

Yes — new fitness courses for both kids and adults start this autumn. Groups are small (max 4), with only one group in the gym at a time, organized by age, level, and preferred times. Places are limited, so register early.

Where can I see prices, levels, and times?

Everything lives on the Play & Train page and in Court22 — that's always the most up-to-date source.

Who do I contact with course questions or concerns?

Email kurs@oslotk.no with any specific questions or concerns about courses — placement, scheduling, or anything else.

02

Court22 & Booking

Does everyone in my family need their own Court22 account?

Yes — each family member needs their own account. We know signing in and out between accounts is a hassle, and we're working with the developers to improve it. For now, separate accounts are the way.

Which memberships can book courts?

Junior 13+SeniorFamily include court booking.

Child membership (up to age 12) doesn't include booking rights. From age 12 you can apply for junior membership — fill in the waitlist form on the membership page.

03

Courts & Gym

What courts and surfaces are there?

Three surfaces: indoor hard court, six rooftop courts (all open), and outdoor hybrid-clay courts. Two clay courts are now finished, with booking opening this week.

Any court rule I should know?

Use different shoes indoors and outdoors. Shoes worn outdoors aren't allowed on the indoor courts — it keeps the surfaces clean and safe.

Is the gym open, and can I book private training?

The gym is fully open. Private training (PT) can be booked — our fitness head coach is Nuno Correia (nuno.correia@oslotk.no).

How do I book a private lesson?

Have a look at the coaching staff on our website and contact the coach you'd like directly. Lessons are open to non-members too — so friends and family are welcome to book a session with you.

04

Camps & Kids

When are the summer camps?

Two weeks in August, for kids and adults. Several groups fill up early, so book ahead.

Week 32
3–7 August
Week 33
10–14 August
What does a camp day look like?

Camp runs 9:00–15:00, with an optional stay until 16:00. On the first day, arrive at 8:45 for check-in. There's a snack break around 10:30 and lunch around 12:00 — kids are active all day, so pack plenty of food.

Mon–Wed Tennis plus off-court games and activities by age group. Thu On-Court Olympics, then lunch and free time at Frogner Park. Fri Tournament, awards at 14:00, and free play.

What should my child bring?

A water bottle, sunscreen (lots of outdoor time), both indoor and outdoor shoes, and a hat with weather-appropriate clothing. Lunch is provided Thursday and Friday; pack lunch Monday–Wednesday, plus a snack every day.

You're welcome to leave your child's racket and shoes at the club for the week, so there's less to carry back and forth.

What is OTK Minis?

A playful first taste of movement and tennis for ages 2–4 — balance, coordination, and basic racket-and-ball skills, with a parent joining in and a coach on hand. It begins week 35 (Monday 24 August 2026) alongside the children's courses. Register your interest in Court22.

Who do I contact about camps?

Email jan.lucky@oslotk.no or alexandria.ritchie@oslotk.no with any questions about schedule, food, or anything else.

05

Around the Club

Tell me about the restaurant.

Madserud Bistro is our neighborhood restaurant — French and Mediterranean cooking, made from scratch, open 11:00–22:00 Tuesday to Sunday. The menu changes every three weeks. Book at madserudbistro.no.

Can I rent a locker?

Yes — there are 24 lockers in the corridor behind courts 1 and 2. Email post@oslotk.no to reserve one.

What ongoing activities can I join?

Club Ladder — friendly matches against players at your level, free to join. Doubles sessions — two hours, four players, a fresh mix each time, mostly weekday lunchtimes and some evenings. Both are under Activities in Court22.

Building Values Tour — a five-round tournament series for kids; the next round is 19 September.
